I joined Medway Town FC when my older son wanted to get into football. I was asked to be an assistant coach during his first season and took over as manager at the start of his second season.

I love how the club are giving young boys and girls from the age of 3 the opportunity to play football. Having age groups starting from crèche upwards including a number of girls teams gives kids the opportunity to be active, learn new skills, make new friends and most importantly have fun.

Favourite age group would be u10’s as that is the age group I manage and have spent the most amount of time with. It’s great to see these boys really take what they’re learning in training and put it into action. I have also started to help coach my younger son at u7’s which is also great to see them starting their footballing journey.

To help the boys get the most out of their footballing experience. To learn new skills, to develop and to grow to be the best they can be not just as footballers but as people, which will hopefully help them as they get older.
